Boba Run is my passion project that combines endless runner game mechanics with boba milk tea visuals. After starting and not finishing several video games in the past, one of my goals in 2020 was to ship a solo title. For this project, I spent one month researching a suitable game engine and prototyping the levels. I spent the next four months on design, development, and QA.
One of the biggest challenges was getting the game to work on multiple iOS devices. Fortunately, there were a lot of great resources available to help me troubleshoot some of the issues. I shipped the MVP in June after months of late-night hours. I'm currently working on a post-MVP version with additional levels, unlockable content, and features.
